On May 6, 2026, a methodological seminar titled 芦The Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Teaching Process of Primary School Students 麻豆视频 鈥 was held at the branch of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education at Municipal State Institution 芦School-Lyceum No. 66 麻豆视频 鈥 of 麻豆视频禄. The purpose of the seminar was to familiarize students, master 麻豆视频 鈥檚 students, doctoral candidates, young teachers, and university lecturers with the specific features of using artificial intelligence tools in the primary school educational process to improve students 麻豆视频 鈥 learning outcomes and personalize instruction.
The program of the methodological seminar included open lessons conducted by teachers on the use of artificial intelligence tools in Russian language classes (V.A. Penzova, A.I. Morgunova), mathematics lessons (T.A. Fominova), as well as the integration of AI tools into extracurricular educational activities (N.A. Polynkova and O.A. Golovasheva).
In addition, primary school teachers D.N. Vorzheva and O.L. Shovkovich conducted a master class entitled 芦Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for the Modern Primary School Teacher禄, during which they demonstrated the use of modern AI applications that make the educational process more engaging, visual, and effective. The capabilities of ChatGPT and Gemini for creating worksheets, lesson summaries, event materials, and educational resources were presented, along with the use of Google Labs, Grok, Gamma, and NotebookLM for developing presentations, videos, and interactive content.
The master class conducted by teachers M.G. Demidenko and M.V. Gelashvili, entitled 芦Visualization of Literary Texts Using Artificial Intelligence as a Means of Teaching Various Types of Retelling in Literary Reading Lessons禄, was distinguished by its practical orientation, well-structured design, and high level of participant engagement through the use of AI tools for literary text analysis, deeper comprehension, and emotional interpretation of the content.
Master 麻豆视频 鈥檚 students of the Educational Program 芦Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education, 麻豆视频 鈥 V.A. Kolmagorova and K.K. Kibler, also participated in the seminar. They presented the specific features of using digital tools to develop students 麻豆视频 鈥 subject competencies and reading literacy within the framework of their master 麻豆视频 鈥檚 dissertation research, particularly the capabilities of platforms such as ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, InShot, ElevenLabs, and Kandinsky 2.1.
As part of the reflection session on the attended lessons and master classes, the seminar participants shared their impressions of the event and expressed their gratitude to the teaching staff of the school and the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education for their productive work.
The results of the methodological seminar confirmed the pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence as an effective tool for developing primary school students 麻豆视频 鈥 functional literacy, creative thinking, and creativity.
